What Does a Dietitian Do?
Dietitians have spent at least 4 years at university and are considered both a Dietitian and Nutritionist. We complete extensive and ongoing research in anatomy and physiology so that we can understand how the body works and the impacts that certain diseases and symptoms can have on the body. Usually, the individuals we see experience an illness, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity or mental illness. Many diseases can impact an individual’s nutrition and health, whether that be from the disease itself or from medications needed to manage that disease. From a nutritional perspective, we help to support individuals and groups to improve their nutrition intake to prevent and or help to treat these diseases.
The team at Simply Nutrition Dietitians are all qualified to support you to achieve improved nutritional outcomes for the betterment of your health. We are passionate about seeking to understand you and your needs before the information we provide can be understood.
